Introduction:

my cpf is a holistic customer service framework for the Central Provident Fund (CPF), which serves as the key social security scheme for Singapore workers. Leveraging on IT capabilities, CPF schemes and services are packaged according to a Singaporean's life events.

Background:

Started on 1st July 1955, the Central Provident Fund is an essential comprehensive social security savings plan, which intends to provide working Singaporeans with a sense of security and confidence in their old age.

CPF is managed by The Central Provident Fund Board (CPF), a statutory board under the Ministry of Manpower. The scope and benefits of CPF include Retirement, Healthcare, Home Ownership, Family Protection, and Asset Enhancement such as Starting Work, Buying a House, or Having Children.

Programme Details:

Online services are personalised from the customer's perspective (My Statement, My Messages, My Requests, My Activities and My e-Concierge) using the CPF Board's Customer Relationship Management System, iCARE, which profiles and manages the feedback and transactions of customers. This is complemented by interactive retirement planning tools.

my cpf uses a multi-channel service delivery approach to suit the different needs and IT maturity of Singaporeans. These service channels include the CPF Portal, Service Centres, e-Lobbies, e-Ambassadors, SMS, mobile-Ambassadors, and Club 55 for the elderly.
my cpf has garnered international recognition at the MIS Asia IT Excellence Awards, Asia Pacific Infocomm Technology Alliance (APICTA) Awards, Government Technology Awards, International Data Corporation Enterprise Innovation Awards, Commonwealth Association Of Public Administration and Management International Innovation Awards (Commendation) for its customer-friendly framework. It was also a finalist in the Stockholm Challenge. Locally, it won the "e-Inclusion & e-Community" category in the Infocomm Singapore Awards.
